Camp teaches children what it takes to be a Colleyville firefighter

The Colleyville Fire Departments Kids Camp provides children with a week of unforgettable experiences. Instructed by real firefighters, kids get hands-on experience in the day-to-day skills required to be a firefighter while gaining a sense of individual responsibility and team work. Campers learn CPR, first aid, and everything about firefighting in this hands-on, interactive camp.

Scheduled June 12-16, Kids Camp is offered as a half-day session from 8:00 a.m. until noon. (If interest and participation warrants, an afternoon session may be added from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.). Campers can be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. The camp will be conducted at the Colleyville Central Fire Station, 5209 Colleyville Blvd. Its open to boys and girls ages 9-13 only; Colleyville residents are given first priority. Cost for the camp is 125; registration is required.
