Carroll vs. Waco Midway – Game Day Information

Anyone who’s driven down I-35 through Waco in the last three years has seen Baylor’s McLane Stadium sitting nestled between the highway and the Brazos River. This beautiful facility will be the site of the UIL Conference 6A Division II Region 1 Quarter-finals when Carroll plays the Midway Panthers of Waco. The game takes place on Saturday, December 9, with kick-off at 6:oo p.m. Carroll will be the HOME team but there are a few other things to know before making the trip south.

Location:

McLane Stadium, Baylor University
1001 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Waco, Texas 76704

Directions:

Once in Waco, McLane Stadium is located on the campus of Baylor University. Take the Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. exit off I-35 and go east.

Fan Parking:

Parking lots will open at 2:00 P.M.

No charges, first come first serve, enter through the 3 or 4 entrances. Parking is limited to the first 2,000 cars. Brazos Parking, privately-owned cash parking lot, is available to fans across MLK Blvd. Remote parking is available at the Ferrell Center, fans may take the river walk sidewalk to the stadium an approximate 15-minute walk. Tailgating:                             

Tailgating is allowed in parking lots at McClane Stadium. Individuals may tailgate behind their vehicles as long as driveways and additional parking spots are not blocked. Additionally, tailgaters are welcome to use the grass area to the north side of the lagoon for tailgating.

RVs/Trailers                       

RVs and other towable vehicles are not allowed in the stadium parking lot for high school games. Accommodations are available at Brazos Parking by calling 254-717-3138 or emailing admin@brazosparking.com

Tickets:

All persons age 2 years and up must have a ticket. All tickets are General Admission. Buying pre-sale tickets are recommended. ($6 student, $10 adult). Purchase tickets online through eTix using the following link: Purchase Playoff Tickets – Carroll vs Midway. Tickets purchased online MUST BE PRINTED. Tickets on mobile devices WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED at McLane Stadium.

Tickets WILL NOT be sold at CHS or CSHS. You can purchase tickets at Dragon Stadium during these hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Friday 8:00 a.m-12:00 p.m.

All tickets at the McLane Stadium gate on game day will be $12.00. Purchasing your ticket at the game IS NOT RECOMMENDED. Expect long lines. The ticket office is located on the east side just to the right of Gate C.

Gate:

All general fans will enter at Gate C on the east side of the stadium.

Bag Policy:                             

Backpacks are not allowed. Bags and purses larger than 12” x 6” x 12” will not be allowed.

Cameras:                                

Cameras with lenses 4” or smaller are permitted in McClane Stadium. No monopods or tripods are allowed. Video cameras are not permitted. 

Field Access:

Only teams, coaches, cheerleaders, officials and properly credentialed administrators and media will be allowed access to the field. At no time during or after the game are spectators allowed on the field.

Spirit Tunnels:

Spirit tunnels are allowed for team entry onto the field prior to the start of the game. If used, the home team tunnel will be set up on the northeast end of the field.

Bands:

The Home Band should sit in Section 101.
