Fort Worth spooks and goblins can experience a safer alternative to traditional trick or treating when the Fort Worth Police Department hosts a Halloween Trunk or Treat event from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex, 505 W. Felix St.
The family-friendly event is designed to transfer Halloween from the uncertain streets to the safety of a secured parking lot. Participating groups will turn the backs of cars, trucks and SUVs into the new front porch, creating a safer environment for parents and youth.
Enjoy games, face painting, candy stations, displays and exhibits.
