Explore, Create and Learn at the Cross Timbers Spring Break Nature Camp

This year’s theme is “Recycle Earth.” Join us as we get creative with arts and crafts, take exciting hikes through the Cross Timbers and discover the positive effects that recycling has on our local and global ecosystem.

Each day at Cross Timbers Nature Camp will feature animal-themed games, nature arts and hands-on projects such as making our own vermicomposting bin, cardboard fox dens and homemade paper. Through these activities, we will learn just how easy it is to be resourceful and reuse everyday products in creative ways.

Before and after care is provided from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6:30 p.m. Campers are asked to pack a lunch and wear outdoor-appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes. We also recommend bringing a refillable water bottle and applying sunscreen before the start of camp each day.
