Help give pets a home for the holidays

Fort Worth Animal Care & Control encourages residents to attend any of three adoption events this holiday season. The staff hopes to make wishes come true for the nearly 600 dogs and cats being cared for in shelters and to find each of them a loving home.

Every pet that comes through the doors of the Fort Worth Animal Shelter has a story — often one of being abandoned and left to survive wandering the streets. More than 16,000 animals land at the shelter each year. It’s the goal of the shelter to find loving a home for each of these incredible pets.
