Fort Worth residents have opportunities to learn how the city’s budget is created and to provide comments on the 2021 budget process. Meetings are scheduled for:
- July 29, 6 p.m.
- July 31, 10 a.m.
Meetings will be held in the City Council Chamber at City Hall, 200 Texas St. Residents who attend the meetings in person must wear a face covering and practice social distancing. To allow for social distancing, seating in the Council Chamber is extremely limited.
Because of the limited seating, residents are encouraged to watch the meetings live on Fort Worth TV, either online, on TV or on Facebook. They can also watch the meeting via the Fort Worth City Hall Youtube channel or the Fort Worth TV video library after the meeting is complete.
Anyone wishing to ask a question during the meeting can sign up to speak when they arrive. Signup will begin 30 minutes before the meeting starts, in the lobby outside the Council Chamber.
Residents can also provide feedback and ask questions via email before, during and after the meeting. Questions can also be called into a number that will be displayed during the broadcast.
Staff will present the questions that are submitted by email or phone so they can be answered during the broadcast. Any questions that are not answered during the meeting will be posted online with the appropriate answer.
