Thinking about hitting the beach for the Memorial Day weekend? There’s an option that’s close to home.
Twin Points Park, near the Eagle Mountain Lake dam, opens May 26 for its third season with swimming, boating, picnicking and more. The park is operated by the Tarrant Regional Water District.
Admission is $10 per car Monday-Thursday and $20 per car Friday-Sunday. The swim beach is open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and the boat ramp is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
On opening day, May 26, a fireworks display will begin at about 9 p.m. and last about eight minutes. Visitors who wish to view the fireworks display will be allowed free admission beginning at 8 p.m. The park will remain open an extra hour on Saturday only.
Twin Points Park is at 10200 Ten Mile Bridge Road near Eagle Mountain Lake.
