The City of Fort Worth will conduct a public hearing to discuss plans to terminate three Neighborhood Empowerment Zones. The hearing will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 during the regularly-scheduled City Council meeting at City Hall, 200 Texas St.
Interested parties are invited to comment on the areas that the city proposes to terminate. These are known as the Berry/University, Trinity Park and Magnolia Village Neighborhood Empowerment Zones. After the hearing is closed, the Council will consider adopting a resolution terminating the areas as NEZs.
