Weekend closures set for I-35W, I-820

Construction closures will be in place on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11 from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. nightly:

  • All lanes of westbound I-820 at I-35W will be closed. Traffic will be redirected to Basswood Boulevard.
  • The direct connector from eastbound I-820 to northbound I-35W will be closed. Traffic will be redirected to Meacham Boulevard.
  • All lanes of the westbound I-820 TEXpress Lanes from Denton Highway 377 to Mark IV Parkway will be closed. Traffic will be redirected to the general-purpose lanes.
  • All lanes of the northbound and southbound I-35W TEXpress Lanes from Meacham Boulevard to I-820 will be closed. Traffic will be redirected to the general-purpose lanes.

These closures will be in place on Friday, July 10 at 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11:

  • Rolling full freeway closures on northbound I-35W from Westport Parkway to Alliance Boulevard.
  • Rolling full freeway closures on northbound I-35W from Keller Hicks Road to Westport Parkway.
  • Rolling full freeway closures on northbound I-35W from North Tarrant Parkway to Heritage Trace Parkway.
  • Rolling full freeway closures on southbound I-35W from Westport Parkway to Keller Hicks Road.
  • Rolling full freeway closures on westbound I-820 from I-35W to FM 156 (Blue Mound Road).
  • The northbound I-35W TEXpress Lanes from I-30 to North Tarrant Parkway will be closed. This includes all northbound entrances.

These closures will be in place on Saturday, July 11 at 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday, July 12:

  • The direct connector from eastbound I-820 to northbound I-35W will be closed. Traffic will be redirected to Meacham Boulevard.
  • The northbound I-35W TEXpress Lanes from I-30 to North Tarrant Parkway will be closed. This includes all northbound entrances.
  • Rolling full freeway closures on northbound I-35W from North Tarrant Parkway to Heritage Trace Parkway.

There are no closures scheduled for the night of Sunday, July 12.
